PUMPKIN SPICE RYE

The Hazel Room; Portland, Oregon

1-1/2 oz. Old Overholt rye whiskey
1 egg white
3/4 oz. Townshend’s Spice Tea liqueur
1/2 oz simple syrup infused with clove and cinnamon

 

Shake all ingredients 40 times without ice.
Add ice and shake 50 times. 
Strain into a stemmed cocktail glass and garnish with nutmeg.
